Text description provided by the architects. Yongjiang Tennis Club Is a sports club along the east coast of the Yongjiang River green belt,. This club includes an underground parking garage and a sports hall. Sports hall include two tennis courts and a resting area.
Taking into account the high Storey of the sports hall, this riverside building volume would be more abrupt, we consider that The sports hall ground is reduced to the underground layer, the green park also extends into the sports hall level to ensure that the sports hall will be lighting and comfortable, while greatly reducing the amount of body building above ground.
The sloping roof extended to the park ground, so that people can climb the roof of the building, watching the river and the green park. Some area of the sloping roof will be planted with grass, green parks and this building can become a continuous whole.
This building fully consider the relationship between the site and the city, it is rational and intuitive. The building skyline like waves in general, now it become a new scenic spots along the Yongjiang River.
